Violinist Sarah Price is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where she studied under Phillip Lewis. She also studied at the Miami Music Festival with Joel Smirnoff of the Juilliard String Quartet. Her principal mentors include Gary Levinson, Joel Smirnoff, Sherry Kloss, Kati Sebestyén, and Jazz violinist Scott Tixier.
As both performer and producer, she has appeared at numerous cultural venues including the Dallas Arboretum, Bath House Cultural Center, Museum of Biblical Art, Eisemann Center, Colleyville Arts Center, and the Museum of Clocks and Watches, as well as internationally throughout Hungary, Italy, and Israel.
Her work has been featured in the Texas Jewish Post and the Jerusalem Post. She is a member of the Metroplex Magyar Cultural Circle and previously served as Music Director of the Texas Jewish Arts Association, and Education Director for the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth. She is also the Director of Music Tells the Story, a new music education initiative that she is bringing to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Sarah currently performs with various local ensembles while exploring the language of Jazz and incorporating it into traditional Hungarian and Roma violin styles. She teaches from her private studio in Fort Worth.
