THE JOURNEY OF PAINTERLY MEDITATION

Seasoned artist, Juliette McCullough, has offered a tour of her “galleried” home and her fascinating studio. In addition to sharing details about her present painting journey, she will offer a superb and diplomatic critique of one piece of every attendee’s work.

Marketing materials: This extraordinary opportunity offers everyone an insight into the process, inspiration, and motivation for creating art.

Bio: Juliette McCullough grew up in London and was one of 18 students (selected from 1000 applicants) who attended the Royal Academy of Art. Among her lecturers was Bauhaus-inspired artist and lecturer, Morris de Sausmarez who started the University basic design course in England. Francis Bacon purchased one of her paintings while she was a student at the Royal Academy!

Juliette moved to Dallas where she taught Art at Richland and Collin College. For 22 years Juliette was a beloved art teacher at Hockaday Girls’ School. During her retirement, she has lectured and taught art at Brookhaven, led London Museum and gallery tours, juried art shows in the Metroplex, and presented weekend workshops on color, design, drawing and painting. Her vast knowledge of both contemporary and historical art always infuses her teaching with inspiring resources. She is a fascinating storyteller who informs and inspires both beginners and seasoned artist. She is a winner of the Meadows Museum Moss Chumley Award. The Center for Contemporary Political Art in Washington DC selected and sold Juliette’s fascinating morph of a Ruben’s painting. She has also exhibited her work in Japan, Italy and London. This is an opportunity not to be missed! It promises to be a WOW experience!
