Jyoti Tyagi is an Artist based in Dallas, TX of Indian origin steeped into the chaotic charm of Mumbai and the multicultural diversity of her adopted home. Her works are Paintings & Ceramics of Contemporary Abstract / Modern Art and comes in bursts of inspiration driven by collisions between her Indian memories and American Life. She currently operates and owns a home studio in Dallas.
She started as a precocious child artist, and has been honing her Art under the tutelage of Independent artists & studying Art in Dallas College .
She has had one-person , two-person & group exhibitions at galleries in USA and Europe ( Berlin & Madrid ). Her works are in the Personal collections of many Art Patrons globally.
She views things that any other observer may miss. Her inspiration is from nature and In the everyday objects. She sees a balance in the patterns, streaks, swirls, blotches and colors which is then put on the canvas. The outcome of every artwork is always therapeutic & visceral. She believes that the artist is just the medium. The aim of her artwork is to give the viewer a direct visual freedom to form their own personal connection with the image whether it invokes an emotion or a memory.
