In the role of Giselle, Alexandra Light takes her final bow after over a decade as Principal Dancer with Texas Ballet Theater as she transitions into choreography full time.

happy to celebrate one year of my newsletter! thank you for being here. five quarters down, many to go. and i simply cannot put into words all that i am feeling.
i retired from the world of being a principal dancer in a ballet company on my own terms in order to pursue choreography, and with barely over a month elapsed, i find myself on an upward trajectory i never could have imagined. endless gratitude to the dancers, family, and friends who surrounded me with so much love on my last performance of Giselle;
and gratitude to all of the amazing new people i have met through summer residency in ORTO and Volland, this transition has been beautiful and i feel more grounded as a choreographer than ever.
as always, i love connecting with you. you can email me [afarber123@gmail.com], use the contact form on my website [www.alexandralight.art], or DM on instagram [@farbie]
