Texas Jewish Arts Association (TJAA) has a Call for Entry for members only for an exhibition inside the Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea restaurant at 3613 Shire Blvd., Richardson, Texas to display and sell 2D artwork in the month of October 2022. 
SHOW INFORMATION for the Curated Artwork Exhibition: 

• Show Dates: October 2, 2022 to December 2, 2022 
• Application link here and TJAA website link or newsletter email
• Entry Fee: None. This is an exclusive member benefit which provides members an on-going exhibition and sales opportunity. Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea requires that the artist members must be local residents of Richardson, or the surrounding areas (example: Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Garland, Allen).
• Extended Submission Deadline: September 9, 2022 
• Selection Notification: September 14, 2022 
• Location: Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, 3613 Shire Blvd., Richardson, TX 
• Load-in: Sunday, October 2 (4 pm – 6 pm) 
• Load-out: Tuesday, November 1 (4 pm – 6 pm) 
• Events: Opening reception, Sunday, October 16, 5 pm- 7pm. 

REQUIREMENTS AND SHOW DETAILS: 

• Membership: TJAA membership required – If you are not already a member, follow link https://www.texasjewisharts.org
• Locationon: Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, 3613 Shire Blvd., Richardson, TX, 75082 
• Selection: Artwork will be curated and chosen based on: 

1. The size, no larger than 36” high and 24” wide 
2. Approval by Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea management 

• Theme: None. Artwork may be of a Judaic nature, but is not required. 
• Artwork Restrictions: Sweetwaters and/or TJAA reserve the right to refuse any work.
• Artwork cannot display any nudity or profanity. 
• No price tags. Only contact information directly to the artist.
• Works for Sale: This is a sales opportunity. All artwork is required to be available for purchase. Sales are to be conducted directly between artist and buyer. 20% of proceeds from the sale goes to Texas Jewish Arts Association. 
• Load-in and Load-out: Each artist is responsible for art work delivery and pick up at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea during the posted dates. Failure to do so may result in being barred from entering the next exhibition. 
• Sold Artwork: Each artist is responsible for delivering sold artwork to purchaser. 

• ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS: • 2-D 

• Dimensions: Maximum size for wall-hung work: 36” x 24”, framed and wired for hanging (no sawtooth hooks!) 
• Weight: 25 lbs maximum 

LIABILITY: 

• Each artist will be responsible for liability coverage on their artwork 
• All reasonable care will be exercised with artwork; however, neither TJAA nor Sweetwaters Coffee & Teawill be responsible for loss or damage. 
• Artists will be required to sign a waiver releasing Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea and TJAA from all liability against any damage, loss or theft of artist’s artwork. 
• SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Fill out the artist and artwork information in the online form
  • jpg’s of your work should be labeled: LastName_FirstName-TitleOfArtwork
  • Artwork submitted after the Submission Deadline will not be considered.
